Kyokushin-kan Afghanista, which is a very competitive country in international and world tournaments, opens a new branch dojo in Khost province of Afghanistan, in Southeast part of Afghanistan. This new branch of Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan in Khost province is another stunning achievement of Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan. Since early 2006, the leadership and country representative of Afghanistan Kyokushin-kan Karate-do Organization (Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan) has been working hard to develop Kyokushin-kan in all of Afghanistan. Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan has over 35 dojos in cities and provinces around the country. Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan has official branches in Khost, Paktia, Nangarhar, Laqhman, Kabul, Herat, Ghazni, and Farah provinces of Afghanistan.
The recent achievement of Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan is from 2014 Kyokushin-kan Eurasian Championships. Afghanistan got a gold medal in 80 Kg, a silver medal in 70 Kg, and a bronze medal in 90 Kg from The 2014 Kyokushin-kan Eurasian Championships.
On August 29, 2014, Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan is organizing the The 2014 All Afghanistan Open Karate Tournament in Open Weight Category.
